Yamaha FG700S Review 2022: Does It Worth It?

Yamaha’s guitars have a long and illustrious history that dates back to the Yamaha FG series. They are the most popular acoustic guitars of all time in terms of sales. Over the course of 40 years, they have built a reputation for never disappointed any of its customers. The Yamaha FG700S is manufactured in China. It is a cheaply priced guitar that is excellent for beginning players.

Solid Sitka spruce top and rosewood fingerboard are among the luxury characteristics of this instrument. When played slowly by an amateur, this results in smooth melodic-sounding sounds, rather than cacophony, rather than when performed quickly. Also as a result of this characteristic, the guitar is very lightweight, making it simpler for novices and youngsters to operate the instrument.

The guitar maintains its tuning and is appropriate for playing a wide range of acoustic music genres, including rock, blues, and even classical compositions. Many higher-priced guitars cannot compete with the richness and evenness of the tone produced by this instrument. When it comes to durability and toughness, this item can resist the occasional fall or bump. The guarantee is also for life, which is an added bonus for buyers. The Yamaha FG700S is unquestionably a fantastic value for money when you consider its immaculate quality and sound performance. In a nutshell, the guitar is simple to play and produces excellent sound. Minor imperfections in the finish of certain Yamaha FG700S guitars may be present; nevertheless, this is not a cause for concern.

Yamaha FG700S is recommended for all those at the entry-level with a modest budget.

I’ve had this guitar for 4 years, its been great. Stays in tune, and takes a beating.

I still can’t believe this cost only $200. Solid straight fast neck, very good action right out of the box, clear and deep tone. The “light” finish on it is what lets this one sing.

I bought this Yamaha as my first guitar a few years ago and I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I am that I did.

This guitar suprised me, the tone was full and clear. My experience with beginner priced guitars is they never have a full sound, they are always thin sounding.
